Inspection of goods and suppliers in China

Conducting on-site inspections in China can help prevent common supply issues

There are two types of on-site inspections: one is an inspection of suppliers, and the other is an inspection of goods. Also, the thoroughness of inspection can vary from less detailed to more detailed. Trained staff performs an on-site inspection during shipment based on your specific requirements and the level of thoroughness needed. Once the inspection is complete, you will receive a quality control mark on the bill of lading (B/L, or BOL), invoice, and packaging documents.

DiFreight offers on-site inspections that include a comprehensive check of the supplier's legal documents, establishment time, authorized capital, and all necessary legal checks. We also closely monitor the supplier's website to ensure its authenticity and reliability to eliminate fraud.

When requesting an on-site inspection, specify the product for inspection and provide all essential questions you need an inspector to clarify. After the inspection, you can decide whether or not to continue working with the supplier and proceed with a partial or complete payment. If the inspector spots defects or discrepancies or additional papers are needed, we will request the supplier to resolve the issue before shipment.

What do we inspect?

We perform a thorough inspection process that includes opening your parcels and checking the quality of the packing, markings, and logos. We also examine the quality of the product, take necessary measurements, and test for color and functionality, ensuring that it meets your required standards. Additionally, we double-check the quantity and completeness of your order. Our independent on-site inspection is based on your requirements or the product sample you can provide us. Once the inspection is completed, you will receive a detailed photo report with accompanying comments.

After you confirm that the inspection has been successful, our inspector will seal the cargo and make all the necessary markings. The price for the on-site inspection includes the inspector's transport costs and rate per day of work, which is an average of $200.
